Offloading Herrera to Acquire Lucas Torreira
The Spanish club are currently undergoing an overhaul of their squad. A deal for the 24-year old Torreira all depends on the departure of Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera, who could re-join Porto a year after he joined Atletico from the Portuguese side.
Partey to Arsenal Update
It is well-documented that Arsenal are interested in Partey, but a deal to include the defensive midfielder in the Torreira move is off the table. However, according to The Athletic’s football correspondent David Ornstein, Arsenal are trying to do deals for both Partey and Aouar but have back-ups if not possible.
