Everton eye PSG Defender

Reports coming from France, are stating that Everton have made an approach for Thomas Meunier. The PSG right-back will enter the final year of his contract in the summer. The Toffees are therefore hoping to sign the Belgian at a knock-down price.

The 27-year-old has failed to hold a regular place at the Paris club this season. However, in the 13 games, that he has featured in, he has contributed three goals and two assists. Everton are looking to strengthen their defence this summer and the signing of Meunier could be a great addition.

Rashford Wanted by Spanish Giants

Marcus Rashford has emerged as Barcelona’s number one summer target. The Spanish giants are willing to pay big money for the England international but will have to act quickly. Manchester United, aware of the interest, are reportedly close to offering the forward a new long-term deal.

Rashford has blossomed under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his form has not gone unnoticed. Former Liverpool star Luis Suarez is showing signs of decline, and the Catalan club see Rashford as the perfect replacement. With Barcelona showing an interest, Rashford could soon have a big decision to make.

Hastie Wanted by EFL Clubs

One of Scotland’s hottest young prospects is being chased by clubs in England. Motherwell’s 19-year-old winger Jake Hastie is attracting interest from Hull City and Leeds United. Hastie has impressed this season and the youngster is entering into the final months of his contract.

Motherwell are confident of keeping their young star; however, if talks stall, EFL teams could pounce. Hastie has been in fine form of late, scoring four goals in his last three games. With Motherwell in a good run of form, it is understood that the winger is in no rush to leave. West Brom and Sunderland are also reportedly monitoring the situation.

A Battle for Pépé?

Ivorian winger Nicolas Pépé is a target for both Arsenal and Barcelona. The Gunners were understood to be favourites and were reportedly priced out of a move in January. However, Barça have now entered the race for the in-form Lille star.

The skillful 23-year-old has been in fine form this season. In 25 league games, he has scored 16 goals and provided eight assists. Arsenal, should they still be interested, could find themselves behind Barcelona in the queue. The Catalan giants have reportedly had the talented winger watched for a while now, and he appears to be on their summer wish list.
