Latest on Paul Pogba, Dybala, Hazard and Neres
Paul Pogba Set to Force Move
Paul Pogba is set to demand a move to Real Madrid, according to reports from James Ducker in the Telegraph. However, a major stumbling block could be the fee Manchester United are believed to be asking. The Red Devils are believed to be seeking in the region of £160 million.
Pogba has failed to live up to his reputation as a world-class player since arriving. He has struggled for consistency and has had clashes with management. The French international is keen on a move to Real Madrid. However, the Spanish giants are also looking at other players and may be unwilling to pay £160 million. A fee closer to £100 million maybe more acceptable.
United Want Dybala
The Daily Mail’s Dan Ripley has reported that Manchester United have opened talks with Paulo Dybala. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to rebuild his side and Dybala is the first piece of his expensive jigsaw.
Juventus are ready to sell the Argentine and a fee of around €85 million could seal the deal. Dybala has been prolific for Juve in recent seasons; however, he has failed to find his best form this season alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Hazard to Submit Transfer Request
Mario Cortegana of AS.com is reporting that Eden Hazard could submit a transfer request at Chelsea. The Belgian has just one year left on his contract but the Blues want big money for their star player. The Blues are looking for more than €100 million. Madrid want Hazard but want the asking price reduced.
Should Chelsea stick to their asking price, Hazard could hand in a transfer request. The winger has been linked to Real for some time and a move this summer could now happen. Hazard does not want to hand in a transfer request but if Chelsea won’t decrease their asking price, he may have to.
Liverpool Join Race for Ajax Star
Mike McGrath of The Sun believes Liverpool have joined the race to sign David Neres. The wide man has been in fine form this season helping Ajax to the Champions League semi-finals. Chelsea and Arsenal are also believed to be interested.
22-year-old Neres is rated at around £35 million and could also interest Real Madrid. Ajax paid £13 million for Neres in 2016 and could be set to make a huge profit. The Dutch giants have seen the player progress into a young star. He also made his debut for Brazil this season.
